Wiesner Bros. specializes in rare and large plants but also offers a large variety of the common smaller shrubs, perennials and annuals. Some Timely Winter Tips
1. Stock up on Ice-melt, snow shovels and scrapers before the snow flies (use environmentaly safe Ice- Melt to protect your lawn, plants and paving).
2. Place markers to demarcate where paving ends and lawn/plants begin in order to prevent plow damage.
3. Cover all water features, bird baths and garden statuary subject to freezing damage.
4. Have the material on hand to remove snow and ice form your plants to prevent winter damage.
5. Take care of our feathered friends, keep asupply of birdseed and suet on hand.
6. Begin planning your spring garden now. Start thinking about your 2012 flower and vegetable selections. start your winter seeds now.
7. Add some house plants to your favorite rooms that you can enjoy throughout the winter months.
8. Winter is the perfect time to prune your trees and shrubs (call us for a free quote).
9. Think sustainability! Let us advise you on practicle ways to recycle, compost and conserve water.
